A Week in My Planner

So, its hard to believe that we are already half way through March 2017! This means it has been 2 1/2 months of bullet journaling and blogging (although there was a bit of a slump in February) I have really enjoyed everything so far, and continue to refine my skills as I determine what works best for my life.

One of the things that I have really played around with and tweaked is my weekly planning in my Plum Paper planner. I talk more about what planner I have in one of my earlier posts, but its the vertical column planner. ย While I look forward to starting a new journal in the every popular Leuchtturm 1917, I am determined to use up what I have already paid for before buying yet another notebook ;). So I am adding and changing things up to get my best weekly spread. My current layout is one that I have really enjoyed lately and been sticking to for about a month. It also has lots of color, which is always fun!!

There are 5 main components, or trackers, I include in my days: water, meals, outfit, gym, and vitamins.

Water and vitamins are simple check boxes; one for my daily vitamins and 4 for my water intake. I track my water based on how many 22 oz Brita waterbottles I drink. I generally aim for about 4 bottles a day, but if I get at least 3 I am happy with myself.

Meals, outfit, and gym are blocked off squares that give me enough lines to track all I eat during the day, what I wear, and my workouts. The gym box hasn’t been getting filled in as much as I would like, but really feeling more motivated with this wonderful weather we are having.

For a while I was tracking my skincare in another square, but it was feeling like too much writing. For now that has been eliminated, but I am trying to come up with a better spread to track products and treatments I use on a daily basis. If anyone has any idea, please let me know ๐Ÿ™‚

I have a small little to-do list area on the side that I track what I need to do each week, as well as a notes section I use to jot down what I need from the store apart from the weekly grocery list. I rarely have day specific to-do tasks, so this sort of running list is working just fine for now.

The only space I haven’t found the best use for is the pre-made little block at the bottom of the day. It’s not big enough for a daily gratitude, and it is set up with 3 little bulleted lines. Gonna have to put a little more thought into it, but I am sure something will fill up the space soon.
